‘Sanju’ movie actor Ranbir Kapoor is confirmed to be dating ‘Brahmastra’ co-star Alia Bhatt.
Currently, Ranbir Kapoor is Bollywood’s hot commodity! The actor is gathering praises owing his performance in Rajkumari Hirani directed ‘Sanju’s’ trailer. But that is not all that Ranbir is in news for. After weeks of speculations and coy denial Ranbir Kapoor has confirmed that he is dating Alia Bhatt!
Ranbir has been notoriously private about his life so it is natural that his love life is no different. The actor has been in relationships with several of his co-stars like Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif but has never openly spoken about them. ‘Padmaavat’ actress Deepika Padukone proclaimed her love by tattooing Ranbir’s initials— ‘RK’ on the back of her neck yet her then beau kept quiet.

However, it looks like tables have turned this time around!
Finally, putting all the speculations to rest in a GQ interview Ranbir confirmed that he is dating Alia. Enjoying being in the phase of ‘new love’, Ranbir said, “It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is – what’s the right word? – flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I’m aspiring to for myself. It’s new for us, so let it cook a bit.”
Clearly, Ranbir has grown wiser with years and relationships— the actor further added, “It always comes with a lot of excitement. It’s a new person, it comes with new beats. Old tricks become new tricks again – you know, being charming and romantic, all of that. I think I’m more balanced today. I value relationships more. I can appreciate hurt and what it does to a person much more than I could a couple years back.”
Ranbir may as well have shouted it off rooftops! This is the first time Ranbir has openly spoken about his relationship with a fellow actress.
Chirag of Kapoor Khandaan is leaving no stone unturned in showing off his new relationship. The actor has been out and about in the city with Alia. Late night dinner dates, hanging out with friends and what not! Ranbir was also seen accompanying Alia for various promotional events for her spy-thriller ‘Raazi’ like a supportive boyfriend.
Technically, Alia was the first of the duo to confirm their relationship on Instagram, although at time it only fuelled the fire of rumours. Alia posted a beautiful picture of her with Ranbir while entering Sonam Kapoor Ahuja- Anand Ahuja’s reception.
When asked in an interview who her is ‘biggest crush of all times’, Alia swiftly replied with Ranbir’s name. However, playing coy on Rajat Sharma’s show when asked about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia replied in her bubby andaaz, “Even if something is going on, I don’t want to accept,”.
Clearly the actress has remained tight lipped about her relationship status, thankfully her new beau has not! Even mummy Neetu Singh has been liking and commenting on Alia’s Instagram posts.

The fantasy film will mark the Bollywood debut of television actress Mouni Roy. ‘Brahmastra’ will soon begin the second leg of filming and is slated to release on August 15, 2019.
