Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja hosted a lavish reception party for their colleagues and industry friends post their big fat Punjabi wedding. The reception party was held at Mumbai’s The Leela where A-lister celebrities, politicians and other friends thronged in their finest.

Saif Ali Khan with wife Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput, Swara Bhasker, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, Varun Dhawan with rumoured beau Natasha Dalal, Alia Bhatt with rumoured boyfriend and ‘Brahmastra’ co-star Ranbir Kapoor, AyushmannKhurrana and his wife Tahira Kashyap, Rishi Kapoor with wife Neetu Kapoor were in attendance.

For her lavish reception party Sonam wore a copper and grey chevron Anamika Khanna’s lehenga paired with a full sleeved choli. The slick haired and red lipped actress completed her look with a heavy four-tier diamond neckpiece. One might think Sonam’s choice of lehenga was unusual for a new bride but wait till you see what her hubby has done! Whereas Anand looked dapper in a Raghavendra Rathore label black bandhgala over light trousers. The couple however had a off-beat thing to wear on their wedding reception night and hence, the Nike sneakers! Weird and out of the place? Yes!
