Kareena Kapoor Khan set the stage on fire in Monisha Jaisingh at Lakme Fashion Week’s Grand Finale.
The Lakme Fashion Week winter/festive edition 2018 has come to an end with a grand finale on Sunday night held in Mumbai. While the entire day the runway was star studded by celebrities like Diana Penty, Radhika Apte, Aditi Rao Hydari, Lisa Haydon, Kiara Advani along with mother daughter duo Hema Malini and Esha Deol, the fashion week was closed by the runway walk of Begum of Pataudi— Kareena Kapoor Khan!

Kareena Kapoor Khan walked down the runway as the showstopper for designer Monisha Jaising’s latest collection ‘Shades Of A Diva’. The Bollywood diva was donning a holographic-iridescent off-shoulder gown with intricate details of overlapping straps on the midriff. The gown also showed off her lower back in an elegant manner.

Kareena kept her makeup simple by only accentuating her smokey eyes and sporting nude lips. Choosing to strut down the runway sans any accessories, the ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress let a bunch of locks of her wavy hair cascade over one shoulder giving it a very natural look.
Clearly, Kareena Kapoor Khan has let her showstopping shimmery gown do the talking for her!
However, Kareena did talk about her newly launched makeup collection in collaboration with Lakme.
Talking about her journey from endorsing the brand to becoming a co-creator of a makeup line ‘Kareena Kapoor Khan by Lakme Absolute’, the actress said, “It has been great as we have been associated for almost eight years so it has been a long collaboration and make-up is something every actor wears so coming together to do a make-up tie up, I think the timing has been just perfect.”
The five-days long fashion event began on August 22, 2018. Lakme Fashion Week 2018 showcased over 90 designers from all over the country all of whom tried to incorporate the element of sustainability into their creations.
