Shruti Haasan was among the Bollywood celebrities who walked down the runway during the first half of the day. The ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ walked down the runway while wearing a creation from designer duo Saaksha and Kinni’s collection ‘Raas’. Shruti looked like a modern Gothic goddess in a multiple layered earthy-metallic toned attire with kaftan-style sleeves and a handwoven belt. The actress middle parted her hair and walked down the runway sans any accessories.
Next, Malaika Arora gracefully glided down the runway in a lehenga designed by Anushree Reddy. Malaika’s festive yellow heavily embellished lehenga and choli lined with gottapatti along with her tulle dupatta gave her a royalty look. Malaika accessorized the look with an emerald and diamond necklace-earrings combo.
After a long disappearance Bipasha Basu finally showed up at Lakme Fashion Week’s runway. Horror queen Bipasha was the showstopper for Kolkata based designer brand Ruceru Bridal. Bipasha wore a creation from their latest collection ‘Chitrangada’. Inspired from Rabindranath Tagore’s work Chitrangada’— the brand has tried to replicate the legendary poet’s untimely modern features.

Bipasha looked stunning a in a red bra which was made into a blouse by adding knot and applique work. The light blush pink lehenga had metallic undertones to it. As for the red dupatta, it was draped in such a manner that it resembled a cape.
Actress Jacqueline Fernandez represented Delhi based designer Ashish N Soni’s latest collection as a showstopper. Opening his show, Jacqueline wore an edgy golden hued outfit. The one shouldered fusion jumpsuit had an overlapping blouse with sharp and asymmetrical hem.
While acting as the showstopper Jacqueline looked graceful as she walked down the runway in a one-shouldered embossed midnight blue gown. The figure-hugging gown had a flared skirt and the actress chose to round off her look by donning a pair of stilettos along with silver hoop earrings.
Controversies’ favourite child in Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut closed the show for designer duo Pankaj and Nidhi while wearing a gown from their latest collection ‘After Dark’. The royal blue embellished gown had a deep v-neckline along with a floor-sweeping embellished cape. Drama was added to the ensemble by bondage inspired pencil heels.
Among all the actresses— Varun Dhawan was one of the only male celebrities who was the showstopper. Varun Dhawan walked down the runway for designer Kunal Rawal’s show titled as ‘Perspective’. One look at Varun’s ensemble and we can tell it’s all about multi-functioning as well as reminiscing the old times! Varun was wearing an off-white kurta with a black waist coat along with full-sleeved coat and a pair of white trousers. The ‘Sui Dhaaga’ actor completed the look by sporting shiny black shoes, multiple kadas and oxidized chains.
Doesn’t he resemble somebody from the 30s-40s India?
Other Bollywood celebrities who walked down the runway on Lakme Fashion Week’s day 4 were Nushrat Bharucha, Saiyami Kher, Dia Mirza, Elli Avrram and Neha Sharma.
