The new album will arrive in April just ahead of the group’s upcoming worldwide stadium tour. The band, BTS’s parent company Big Hit Entertainment officially announced that the new album will hit the shelves on April 12.
Last year in May 2018, ‘Love Yourself: Tear’ became the first Korean-language album to top the Billboard 200 chart. Later, in August 2018, BTS released a compilation called ‘Love Yourself: Answer’. Another major highlight of 2018 was when BTS made their U.S. late-night TV debut with a performance and interview on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
All the seven members of BTS : Jimin, V, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope and Jungkook attended Grammys last month, where Love Yourself: Tear was nominated for Best Recording Package. It’s the first Korean album to be recognized in any category by the Academy.
The title of the album was previously teased during an introductory video ahead of the group’s performance at the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), held in Hong Kong.
