For me my night table is really personal and I am very selective of what needs to get inside of it. Your nightstand is the last thing you want to be cluttered, because you are sleeping right next to it. You need to be selective of what you want to store. Well, it needs to be some essentials that will help you sleep or you might need during the night.
Below are some of my favourite nightstand essentials to help you get some rest.
1.Night Lamp
It’s important to have some source of light once all the lights are off and it pitch black. It is easy to access and turn on when required. It also serves a nice reading light and relaxes your mind. Plus you could use it when you need to move out of bed at night.
2.Water
Keep a fancy carafe and glass. We all know how important water is. Plus you will not have to walk up to the kitchen to grab yourself a glass of water. Keep the glass half full and drink when needed.
3.A good Book
Reading a good book which gradually puts you off to sleep is better than straining your eyes to the glaring screens of iPad, TV and iPhone. A good read will help unwind the days stress and put to sleep in peace.
4.Headphone
Ok, so we all haves those days, where sleep never seems to come. So, plug in your headphones and listen to some soothing and relaxing track; which will help you sleep.
5.Notebook
Some of the best ideas pop in your head, when you are in bed. So, you need it jot it down somewhere quick, don’t you? Keep a notebook or a diary handy to jot down your ideas.
6.Aroma Candle
Transform your bedroom in to a spa with these aroma candles. They are calm and soothing, help to relax mind and body. And the market has so many fragrances to offer, pick your favourite.
7.Coaster
You don’t want to ruin your table with water rings. Keep a coaster to protect the table from getting water stains.
8.Jewellery Plate
This is needed for obvious reasons. If you, like me, remove your jewellery before sleeping as you definitely don’t want to lose any. Store them in this cute plate.
9.Beauty Oil
We all know beauty or facial oils work best at night. So, keep it right next to you and apply it right before you sleep. And see your skin transform overnight.
10.Body Butter
Keep your skin hydrated with some body butter. It not only keeps your skin soft and supple, but also the sweet smell is relaxing.
