All the collection, no doubt were outstanding, brilliant and treat for eyes, but the most I liked were floral lehengas, cocktail gowns, sarees and all the pastel colors which are perfect for any Indian Bride to consider while shopping.

Sonakshi Sinha’s ramp walk for Anita Dongre’s blue lehenga with plain white top justified her collection so well. Her collection named as ‘Love Notes by Anita Dongre’, were all about embroidery and simple print. You can consider for Mehendi or Haldi definitely.
Jacqueline and Arjun for Manish Malhotra
Spectacular opener of the first day, Manish Malhotra made a superhit with the caped lehenga’s and gowns, bringing shimmer in fashion with Jacqueline Fernandez as showstopper and Arjun Kapoor for Man’s collection. His lehenga collection were like angel from heaven. Take a look all brides and decide which look to buy.
Aditi Rao Hydari for Jayanti Reddy
All the collection at the event made were focused on Indian ethnic wear with pinch of western touch. Jayanti Reddy, showcased simple and elegant lehenga’s which every Indian bride would love to have.
Shruti Hassan for Anushree Reddy
It was Shruti Hassan for presenting Indian wear with a romantic touch. Keeping neck lines deep but still giving a touch of Indian ethnic wear is what Anushree Reddy label about.

Anupama Bose in collaboration with Islamdubbin Neelgar – Leheriya and named the collection as ‘Satrangi’. It was all leheriya sarees , lehenga and floor length anarkalis.
Golden Bride by Anand Kabra
Asymmetric gowns, sharara’s with jacket and saree’s with waist jacket wore on top of the saree was the new fashion introduced for the modern bride. All the modern brides, stay alert!!
Gaurang Shah Used Jamdani
Gaurang Shah’s collection depicted Indian hand-loom, block prints and traditions. Shah’s collection ‘Calico’ is homage to the traditional textile from the 11th century. Calico is a manifestation of the jamdani weave in an international flavour. We did surely admired the pregnant Carol Gracias wearing saree.
Monica Dogra & Shibani Dandekar for Payal Singhal
Grey and white color with floral print, dhoti styled salwar and deep v shaped short blouse with bottom is the center of attraction for Payal’s collection. I loved dhoti styled salwar which could be a good haldi wear. Check here..

SVA Couture collection ‘Mahal En Maroc’ at Lakme Fashion Week were all pastel green color and simple in style. Bhumi Pednekar in golden outfit was outstanding.
Smashing Surendri by Yogesh Chaudhary
His collection are perfect for cocktail parties. Modern styled lehenga’s with dupatta styled blouse with frill at the front was mesmerizing.
