After impressing us with his stellar performance in ‘102 Not Out’, Shahenshah of Bollywood will soon grace our television screens! Amitabh Bachchan is returning on to our small screens through Kaun Banega Crorepati’s season 10 in August.This season will be a short one and will air for about six weeks comprising of 30 episodes.
Adaptation of America’s popular game show ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’, KBC was launched in India in 2000. Since the first season the show has been hosted by Amitabh Bachchan expect for KBC 3 which was hosted by King Khan— Shahrukh Khan.
After three years of interval, 2017 brought many fresh changes to Kaun Banega Crorepati’s season 9. The ‘Phone-A-Friend’ lifeline got a new avatar and evolved into ‘Video-A-Friend’. A new lifeline was added to aid the contestants in the time of need. When in a pickle the contestants could bring a partner along to join them on the hot seat through the newly introduced lifeline— ‘Jodidaar’. This time too some changes are expected in the show’s format to make it more thrilling and fast paced.
Kaun Banega Crorepati season 10 promises to be innovative. For all of those who love answering Amitabh Bachchan’s questions while sitting on their own couch here is their golden opportunity for them to show off their general knowledge skills!
Amitabh Bachchan will ask a question on the host channel every evening at 8.30 p.m. from June 6th onwards. The answers will be submitted through SMS, IVRS and Sony TV’s app Sony LIV. Those having the maximum number of correct answers will be called for the auditions for the show. Naturally, answering the question correctly will be the first step towards the hot seat on the show. So brush up on your GK!
This will be interesting as last year’s seven-day registration window saw the total registration was 19.8 million. Makers of the show are sure to create a new benchmark with their 14-days registration this year. Let us see how many registrations come forth for Kaun Banega Crorepati’s season 10!
