Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees Banned In Pakistan, Director Rahul Dholakia Lashes Out!

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s recently released film Raees is doing exceptionally well in India and overseas too. The film had to face many hurdles before the release of the film after a ban was imposed on Pakistani stars from working in India. Pakistan CBFC banned Raees on Monday, giving the reason for its inappropriate portrayal of Muslims as criminals, wanted persons and terrorists in the film. Last week, Raees starring Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui was given a clean cheat for the release but after it was sent to the CBFC board, it got rejected. After hearing the shocking news, director Rahul Dholakia took to twitter and expressed his disappointment. He posted, “#raeesbanned in Pakistan ??? Outraged !! Dumbfounded!!”
