The movie not only inspired funny viral memes on internet, but people have been going enough crazy to wear blindfolds and take Sandra Bullock inspired horror thriller “Bird Box” challenge. Netflix have issued a warning to not indulge in “Bird Box” and end up being in the hospital.
“Can’t believe I have to say this, but: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE,” the streaming service said in a tweet.
“We don’t know how this started, and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you not end up in the hospital due to memes.”

The horror-thriller “Bird Box”stars Sandra Bullock with her two children named “A Boy” and “A Girl”, who wear blindfolds and navigate the rapid river and a forest to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. The creepy invisible creature causes people to commit suicide if they are not blindfolded and see them with their eyes open.
For sure, the movie went on to become huge success for Netflix and Sandra Bullock, but netizens looked for an opportunity here and started sharing their “Bird Box” challenge. The fans blindfolded their eyes and shared photos/ videos on Twitter which included daily mundane tasks, walking blindfolded on New York’s street few depicted Sandra Bullock’s act.
