Tanushree Dutta and Nana Patekar’s fight is not going down. After Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar over sexual harassment charges and filed complaint with CINTAA(Cine and Television Artistes’ Association), Nana Patekar was sent show-cause notice by CINTAA a week ago.

For those living under the rock, Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her on the sets of the 2008 film Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss, which eventually ended her career. Nana Patekar have responded to CINTAA’s notice and said that Tanushree’s allegations are ‘baseless and false’. He also said that he is looking to take legal action against Tanushree.
CINTAA is already setting-up a committee to expedite and look into Bollywood’s sexual harassment cases which includes Renuka Shahane, Raveen Tandon, Swara Bhaskar on board.
Besides Nana Patekar, CINTAA have also sent a notice to Alok Nath, who was accused by popular writer-producer Vinta Nanda of raping her 19 years ago.

Tanushree Dutta’s decade old revelation of sexual misconduct by Nana Patekar has brought the much needed #MeToo movement from Hollywood to Bollywood. After Nana Patekar, many other celebrities name including Sajid Khan, filmmaker Vikas Bahl and Subhash Ghai , Comedian Utsav Chakraborty are charged for sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour.

As the #MeToo is taking Bollywood by storm, actor Akshay Kumar stopped shooting for Housefull 4 after Sajid Khan’s name revealed against sexual harassment. Even Aamir Khan gave a statement of walking out of Gulshan Kumar’s biopic Mogul, which was being produced by his banner and T-Series and directed by Subhash Kapoor. Kapoor is accused of attempting to rape actress Geetika Tyagi in 2012.

Recently, in an interview with Reuters, Tanushree said, “I knew I had to keep the dialogue going … and other women would speak out. I was in it deep – there was no way out. I was not going to cow down – not the second time for sure.”
