Meghan Markle has reportedly convinced her ex–husband to stop working on a TV show based on her relationship with Prince Harry.
Actress Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are due to enter holy matrimony in just a few hours but it seems like controversies will be walking down the aisle with them! The Royal couple has been in news for the wrong reasons before their wedding. Reportedly,Trevor Engelson, Meghan Markle’s ex-husband, is all set to make a sitcom based on his ex-wife Meghan and Prince Harry’s royal romance!
Supposedly, Trevor pitched the idea of a sitcom based on the hijinks of a divorcee woman who falls in love and marries within Royalty to Fox Studios last year. The plot sounds familiar, doesn’t it?
Reportedly the royal-bride-to-be is extremely upset that her ex-husband would mock her fairy-tale romance in such a manner. Taking the situation in her hands with Prince Harry’s agreement, Meghan asked her friends to have a word with Trevor to change his mind.
After much urging Trevor has agreed to not move forward with this project. The American film producer was ready with the pilot episode of his new sitcom but has decided to suspend it for a few weeks or at least until all the controversies surrounding Meghan and her new royal husband have died down. The new sitcom was supposed to air this summer as an aftermath of the Royal Wedding.

The long-time couple, Meghan and Trevor were married for two years before heading to splitsville. The reason cited for their divorce was ‘incorrigible differences’. However close friends of the ex-couple hold Meghan’s role in ‘Suits’ responsible for the split. They believe fame completely changed Markle and thus she slowly drifted away from her husband.
Given that the Royal wedding is hours away— the suspension of the sitcom certainly is a happy news for Meghan as well as her new family. However, Trevor Engelson has not confirmed yet if he is walking away from the sitcom.
