The much-awaited wedding of the Ambanis has finally happened and Bollywood sure did not leave a chance to make it more grandeur. Akash Ambani tied the know with her school mate Shloka Mehta on Saturday at newly-constructed convention centre in the Bandra Kurla Complexin in Mumbai. The dinner was hosted at the Jio World Centre in the Bandra Kurla Complex. Shloka Mehta is the daughter of diamantaire Russell Mehta and is a keen philanthropist. The first news of their wedding had come in the month of June 2018 when the Ambanis rolled out the two’s engagement invite.

The bride was all decked in heavy jewellery with an everlasting smile in red lehenga. Akash Ambani opted for a golden kurta pyjama. The sister of groom, Isha Ambani is seen pulling ears of her brother in of the picture as a part of ritual during ‘pheras’.
For the wedding, the business maestro left no stones unturned to make it a splendid event. It was a lavish one with decor that did not leave an eye unraised. The grand ceremony of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta also spotted a rally of stars from the B-town and the cricket fraternity. Some of the biggies of the town stepped out sporting the best of the outfits to add sparks of glamour.
A slew of high-profile international guests also attended the wedding ceremony of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta. Former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his wife Cherie Blair, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. Steel tycoon LN Mittal, industrialist Anand Mahindra and Ratan Tata also joined the celebrations.
The B-town guest list was as long as it gets that included Shah Rukh Khan, Rajnikanth, Deepika-Ranveer, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and so on. The pictures of the attendees are already getting viral on social media.
Deepika-Ranveer looked no less than royal beauties in their outfits. Deepika wore a red saree with pearl jewelry and a slick ponytail. Ranveer mesmerized us with his shiny black Kurta-Pyjama.
Not to forget, a special mention has to be given to the Baraat ceremony that saw everybody shaking their leg. Shahrukh Khan with wife Gauri Khan joined by Ranbir Kapoor and Amir Khan stole the show by shaking their legs to the dhol and nagada and to the live performance by Mika Singh.
Karan Johar also danced with Hardik Pandya before he hugged him putting the rumors of a rift between the two at rest.
