Post maternity break, Disha Vakani aka Daya Ben of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was supposed to resume the shoot in March, but she haven’t yet.
Disha Vakani, who is popularly known as Dayaben of the popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah is currently on a break from the show. The actress is on a maternity leave since the birth of her daughter in November 2017.
Disha Vakani was seen in the show during her entire pregnancy giving on and off appearances, to maintain the TRP of the show. Since the birth of her baby on November 30, 2017, she is off from the show, spending quality time with her little bundle of joy.

After three months of maternity leave, Disha Vakani was supposed to resume back to shoot in March. The actress who shot to fame by portrayal of her character of Dayaben with thousands of fan followers is not reportedly not resuming back to the show anytime soon. It means her fans will have to wait for longer time.
A source close to TMKOC was quoted by the portal as saying, “We are in touch with Disha to start the shoot. But she has yet not given a nod. Considering her baby is very small, production is willing to be understanding in terms of timing and schedule, like we were in the final months of her pregnancy. But she wants to focus more on her personal commitments at the moment. But we are trying very hard to bring her back on the sets asap.”
Disha Vakani has not yet confirmed on any of this. Surprisingly, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah has been maintaining it’s TRP without Disha Vakani, whose character is quintessential of the show.
Currently the show is focused on Bhede and Tapu Sena, which is keeping it’s audience entertained and gripping show’s TRP.
