The most entertaining character of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Disha Vakani is blessed with a baby girl.
Our favorite character Daya ben from popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah welcomes a baby girl in her real life on Thursday. Actress Disha Vakani, who portrays the role of Daya Gada, wife of Jethalal Gada, is famous for her garba and her humorous take on English words.
A source close to Vakani’s family said, “Although Disha’s delivery date was sometime in the third week of December, she delivered the baby today morning. Both mom and daughter are doing well and would be discharged from the hospital soon. Disha is yet to decide when she would be back to work but as of now she wants to spend time with her bundle of joy.”
Another co-star of the serial, Roshan Singh aka Gurucharan Singh confirmed the news of Disha Vakani’s delivery and said, “We got the news early this morning and we will soon go to meet Disha and the little angel.”
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest running Indian sitcom with the same characters(recently only Tappu changed)and it still has the same humor to make us laugh. Dilip Joshi, who plays the role of Jethalal Gada, with his on-screen wife Daya Gada, is the funniest couple of the show. The show started in 2008 on SAB channel and is still running successfully.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is based on popular Gujarati column ‘Duniye Ne Oondha Chashma’, written by late by Taarak Mehta, who passed away earlier this year.
