According to sources George Clooney urged Brad to take first step towards Jennifer following her split from actor Justin Theroux and give their relationship another chance.

“They’ve been secretly getting together for late night hook ups, and it’s all because of George. George was the first person to call him when his marriage to Angie (Angelina Jolie) imploded. After Jen and Justin Theroux announced their split, he encouraged Brad to reach out and give their relationship another chance,” a source told Star magazine.
George, Jennifer and Brad were all good friends when Jennifer Aniston had a stable relationship with Brad Pitt in late 1990s until early 2005. Clooney and Pitt ‘s friendship was ruined by Jolie during Pitt’s relationship with the Maleficent star. He’d stayed in contact with Jen even after her divorce from Brad – and they’ve never stopped being close.

It is also believed that George Clooney have always hated Ange because she always controlled Brad Pitt. “He loved Brad and Jen when they were together and was devastated when they split – especially when he found out it was because of Ange, who he’d never heard good things about,” said a source.
Now that Brad Pitt,54, is divorced from Angeline Jolie and Friends actor Jennifer Aniston,49, has separated from Justin Theroux, we would definitely love to see ex couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston back together. Thanks to George Clooney for his generous gesture over encouraging the couple to give themselves another chance.
