Popular television serial Qubool Hai actress Alka Kaushal and her mother Vishwa Mohan Badola are involved in a shocking case. The mother-daughter duo has been accused of money laundering and due to which they have been sentenced two years jail imprisonment. Also seen as Kareena Kapoor’s mother in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Alka and her mother borrowed Rs 50 Lakhs from a farmer to make a serial. However, they never returned him.

As per media reports, Alka and her mother borrowed Rs 50 lakhs from an acquaintance, Avtar Singh. When he asked to pay her back, they gave him cheques of Rs 25 lakhs each but were reported to have bounced. After which, Avtar Singh filed a case against Alka and her mother in Malerkotla court.

Alka, who is known for playing negative roles on-screen, then moved to Sangrur, Punjab court for some relief. However, the court upheld the decision of the previous court on Wednesday.
As per media reports, Alka and her mother are currently locked up in Sangrur jail and have been sentenced to a two-year imprisonment by a district court in Punjab.
