Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi was convicted on Saturday in 2005 assault case and has been sentenced to one year in prison for assaulting and criminal intimidation. The actor, who assaulted his neighbor in 2005 over the parking space in their society, has also been slapped with Rs 20,000 as fine by Andheri Metropolitan court. Soon after the court announced the verdict, Aditya Pancholi’s lawyer asked for the immediate bail and the actor was released on the bail of Rs 12,000.

As per media reports, Aditya Pancholi had hit his neighbor Pratik Pasrani in 2005 and reportedly fractured his nose at their building. After Aditya’s guest used Pratik Pasrani’s parking space, the two got into a heated argument. Pasrani had objected to the parking of the vehicle by Pancholi’s guest and asked the security staff to clear the vehicle following which the actor assaulted and ended up hitting him.
