Taimur Ali Khan’s gorgeous mommy Kareena Kapoor Khan has just come out of her pregnancy. We all know that how super cute is her baby Taimur with all the perfect looks and wonder what Kareena Kapoor must have eaten throughout her pregnancy. We can visibly see that Bebo is enjoying her motherhood, go out in public places like before and she is kind of lady who admits her weight gain with a complete I don’t care attitude. In a recent live interview, Kareena Kapoor with Rujuta Diwekar who is Kareena’s only dietician had spilled us how is her routine take on food, how is she planning to shed those extra fats and importantly the whole diet plan includes food and only food. To people living under a rock, Rujuta Diwekar is Kareena’s dietitian since 2007 and India’s only celebrated dietitian with clients like Anil Ambani, Karisma Kapoor and more. Here are the Highlights from the Live Interview of Kareena Kapoor with Rujuta – 

    • Though Kareena has put on weight, she enjoys her body and is comfortable in her skin. she walked till the day of delivery and was as active as she is today. She said – “The world saw it. It was for the world. I had support from my family, my fans and I was just flaunting it because I enjoyed myself. I think I carried Taimur with a lot of strength and a lot of energy. A lot of joy that I am going to share It with my fans. I put on 18 kilos but I flaunted it till the day I walked into the hospital. I don’t care.”


    • Kareena also shared how conscious she used to be during her pregnancy when papped – “I was   being photographed from different angles and I was like, ‘OH MY GOD! MY DOUBLE CHIN IS SHOWING’ and my friends and my sisters were like ‘LISTEN, YOU’RE PREGNANT. IT IS FINE.”


      • With all the admiration, Bebo said she has a wonderful baby because she ate all the right food, ghee and everything that is good for her pregnancy, “I ate well. I think that’s the reason, I say it with a lot of pride, that I think he’s the most gorgeous child, not because he’s mine. Because I think he is very, very good looking. Yes, he has the Pathan genes, of course, but he has that because I ate a lot of ghee and a lot of things that were right. I said I would do it the conventional way. All the ghee, all the parathas and all the pizzas have gone into it.”


    • Kareena also made a point that why women post pregnancy shouldn’t wear leggings? Because their thighs are fat? She said – “The beauty of pregnancy is that you are bringing a life into this world. It doesn’t matter what your size or shape is. The idea is to just embrace it. I am out and about and I am flaunting my size, whether people still feel that I am overweight. Or that I shouldn’t be wearing leggings because maybe my thighs are looking too fat or my calves are looking too fat. But it doesn’t matter because I just had the most amazing child and I have an amazing support system.”

Kareena Kapoor is strictly following Rujuta’s diet plan which consists of Rice, glass of milk, ghee and all the normal food. She is not on any crash diet where she is sipping just juices or only salads which most of dietitians advice.

Kareena Kapoor shared her diet plan,  – “She starts her day with a fruit, she exercises 30-40 mins a day and not allowed more than that. She can take a stroll for 15-20 mins a day which her baby Taimur too loves it. He likes to be carried in her arms and take him for a walk. Any sugar free thing is a strict NO. Her morning and night meals also include a bowl of rice. A glass of milk is MUST because Rujuta says any woman post delivery loses 5 years of calcium from her body. 

She also made a point that have your meals without watching TV. This way you will enjoy every bite and taste of food and you will be conscious when you are full and won’t do over eating. To which Kareena reacted – ‘Oh My God!’. And, Saif was like, “it’s the most heartbreaking thing ever because the whole idea is that when you come home from work you want to just watch your favourite TV show and Ok, I want to eat my food.”

Kareena also strictly follows her go to bed timings which Rujuta has advised her. Its 10 in the night to which Saif recated “What is this life we are leading?”. Though not 10, Kareena admitted that she goes to bed by 11pm which is ok with Rujuta.” 

Lastly, Kareena Kapoor launched Rujuta Diwekar’s latest book cover “Pregnancy notes” on Feb 14, which will be available from April. The book will share the journey of Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pre and Post Delivery period. This sounds interesting and we all want know how did she manage to look so gorgeous with glowing skin and nicest hair.
