Karan Mehra, who had been instilled in the hearts of soap opera lovers as Naitik in the popular tele show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has taken an exit from the show, owing to his health issues. The birdies tell us that the makers of the show are not too keen on bringing Karan back on the show, as the exit of the actor has not affected the TRPs. They had been trying to rope in a new face for the character and looks like, they have been successful.
From what we hear, the new ‘Naitik’ has been finalized, and, brace your hearts, he is none other than the beloved ‘Sanju’ from ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’, Vishal Singh, who was last seen in ‘Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi’.
The character of Naitik, who had gone missing post the time leap, will be shown back in the show by the end of next month, in a Switzerland sequence. Seems like wifey Akshara can sigh breathe of relief.
Karan Mehra managed to garner much love and fame courtesy the character of Naitik. Let’s see if Vishal will manage to live up to those expectations.
