Just mere days back fans were rejoicing the roka/engagement announcement of Priyanka Chopra and singer Nick Jonas and now it looks like they have one more reason to celebrate. As per several reports, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s pre-wedding preparations will begin soon.

According to a report in Spotboye, Deepika Padukone’s mother Ujjala Padukone has begun the preparations to host a pre-wedding puja called ‘nandi puja’ at her Bangalore residence. As per close sources, Ujjala Padukone has already spoken the temple officials of the famous Nandi Temple regarding booking of the pandits who will perform this puja.

The pre-wedding puja will be attended by both, Padukone and Singh family including bride-to-be Deepika and groom-to-be Ranveer as they pray for gains in life, good health, increased longevity and victory over their enemies.

Reportedly, the grand nandi puja will be held 10 days before the wedding. So, it comes as no surprise that Ujjala Padukone has begun the preparations already!

As for the upcoming wedding, there are some strong rumours that suggest that the wedding celebrations will take place in Italy by the shores Lake Como in November this year. Going down the path chosen by cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma, Deepika and Ranveer have only invited their families and few close friends to their destination wedding.

In fact, the couple has requested that no one should carry their phones while attending the wedding ceremony to maintain their privacy.

Post their intimate wedding celebrations, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will host a lavish reception party in Mumbai for their industry friends and family.
