Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, who married in Italy on December 11, hosted a grand wedding reception yesterday in Delhi. The lavish reception was hosted for family and close relatives at Durbar Hall, Taj Diplomatic Enclave. Yes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Delhi reception. It was quite a mystery if Modi will attend the wedding reception.

As he arrived, he went on to the stage, met Virat and Anushka’s family. He then blessed the couple before posing for the group picture.

Before making their way inside the venue, Anushka and Virat posed for a photo-op. Anushka looked elegant in red Banarasi sari designed by Sabyasachi while Virat looked dapper in black textured bandhgala with silk kurta and hand embroidery pashmina shawl. The perfect Sabyasachi groom and bride.
Gautam Gambhir joined in Anushka and Virat’s reception with his wife. Cricketer Suresh Raina also arrived at Virushka’s wedding reception with his wife. Also seen at the reception party was designer Mayyur Girotra.
