Patty Jenkins have officially locked the deal to direct Gal Gadot ‘Wonder Woman’ Sequel, making it a historic record of highest paid female director for Warner Brothers.
The biggest blockbuster of the summer ‘Wonder woman’ is bringing news to rejoice. The movie is all set to get a follow-up with the original star Gal Gadot under our very favorite Patty Jenkin’s direction. Well, who had anticipated that a woman based superhero movie would break the Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” and “Spider-Man: Homecoming” records!?

After attaining huge success with movie ‘Wonder Woman’, Patty Jenkins have finally gave it a YES nod for directing Wonder Woman 2. Warner Brothers had announced in July that the movie will get a sequel with Gal Gadot playing the superhero role and will release on December 13, 2019. But, it was not confirmed if Patty Jenkins will direct the sequel or not. Warner Brothers were negotiating with Patty Jenkins over the remuneration and looks like the deal is finalised at a higher side. Why not!
There are rumors that WC have zeroed to pay around $7-9 million to bring Patty Jenkins in for the sequel. However, there is no record of confirmation on what is the exact figure amount. Sources say it’s “in line with any other director who has performed at this level.”
One should know that Wonder Woman is the biggest superhero movie of 2017. Not only this, but it’s also the third highest-grossing film in Warner Brothers history after “The Dark Knight” and “The Dark Knight Rises.”
Looking at the records, it makes sense that Patty Jenkins deserve every dollar of the remuneration. Isn’t this is happy news that ‘Wonder Woman’ sequel will be directed by Patty and also,She’ll become the highest paid female director of all time.
