K-Pop Singer Jung Joon Young Arrested For Filming And Sharing Sex Videos

K-Pop Star Jung was earlier alleged that he had secretly filmed his sexual encounters and had shared the videos in a private chat with his friends. He was questioned by police last week regarding the same. The South Korean police arrested the singer Jung Joon Young later this Thursday.

The Seoul Central District Court issued an arrest warrant for the singer after he appeared at a hearing and apologized to the victims and to “everyone who has showed affection for me.”

He had admitted to filming himself having sex and sharing the footage without his partners’ consent.

He said, “I am sorry. I made a big and inexcusable mistake, and I admit my guilt. I will live my days repenting for the sins.” Through the mobile chat rooms, videos of at least 10 women were shared and the recipients included fellow K-pop stat Seungri of Big Bang.

Jung Joon Young could receive prison sentence of up to 7 years and 6 months.

The Korea Times allegedly show the five men sending the secret, explicit videos to each other, making jokes about rape, and discussing their sexual encounters. Police are also investigating another K-pop star, Seungri. He is under investigation for sex abuse, sex trafficking, and allegedly drugging female customers at his former nightclub Burning Sun.

Few days back another shocking news came to light that thousands of women in South Korea became victim to molka spycam videos — where women’s are secretly filmed by men in schools, toilets and offices. Thousands of women protested last year expressing their anger about spy-cam porn and hidden cameras in public places.

Jung announced his retirement from the industry and the other two singers followed the suit after admitting that they watched the illicit videos.
