As per several reports, ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ fame actor Jason Tham has gotten engaged to his long-time girlfriend Deeksha Kanwal Sonalkar. The couple exchanged rings on August 22, 2018.

The private engagement ceremony was held at Deeksha Kanwal Sonalkar’s home. While the couple exchanged rings and shared sweet kisses in a very western manner—they also performed a Maharashtrian style puja to seek blessings from the almighty. Only close friends and family members attended the intimate ceremony.
The newly engaged couple was a vision to behold in their contrasting attires. While the bride-to-be Deeksha wore an embellished blush pink saree— her groom-to-be complimented her in a midnight blue kurta along with a black bandgala jacket over white pyjamas.
While Jason is of Chinese origin his now fiancé Deeksha is a pure Marathi mulgi. When asked if they faced any troubles due to their vastly different cultures Jason politely stated that he is more of an Indian than most people in India.
While talking about their marriage Deeksha said that their families knew about their relationship but they wanted her and Jason to concentrate on their careers before thinking about taking the next step.
Jason Tham and Deeksha met on the sets of ‘Agent Raghav’ and co-star Aahana Kumra played cupid between the two.
While the much in love couple has announced their engagement, Jason Tham and Deeksha Kanwal have not divulged when will they tie the knot.
