Forbes List Kylie Jenner World’s Youngest ‘Self-Made’ Billionaire

Youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner Clan— Kylie Jenner, aged 20, is all set to become the “youngest-ever self-made billionaire”. According to Forbes Magazine Kylie Jenner is the youngest woman in their list of the 60 youngest self-made women.

As per the Forbes Magazine, 20-year old Kylie Jenner is worth USD 900 million (£683.40m) whereas her half-sister Kim Kardashian is worth of USD 350 million  (£265m).

This ranks Kylie Jenner at the 27th position on the list and her half-sister Kim Kardashian at the 57th position. 

Makeup mogul Kylie owns a cosmetic brand ‘Kylie Cosmetics’ which predominantly concentrates on lip makeup. According to Forbes, the company alone is worth USD 800 million (£600m).

Kylie’s remaining moolah collection comes from the privileges of becoming a reality television star as well as the commercial advertisements deals with Puma and other such international brands. Kylie is the seventh-most-followed user on Instagram having 111 million followers and 25.5 million Twitter followers.

The magazine describes the young businesswoman’s infamous pout as: “What her half-sister Kim Kardashian West did for booty, Jenner has done for full lips.”

Currently, Kylie is a mere ‘few’ USD away from becoming a billionaire. In fact, it is expected that the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star will reach the billionaire status much earlier than Mark Zuckerberg did at the age of 23-years.

Kylie who features on the August cover of the Forbes Magazine kicked off her business by introducing a USD 29 lip kit that included a lip-liner and a lip-colour.

Since then Kylie has had a bunch of full-time employees and a manufacturing factory in China. Her product/brand marketing and finances are managed by her mother Kris Jenner. Reportedly, Kris Jenner takes a 10% cut from Kylie Jenner’s business for managing it.

Since the inception of Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie has sold USD 630 million(£475m) worth of makeup.
