The first wedding of year 2019 is beginning with bang as Nihar Pandya is set to marry singer Neeti Mohan.
After the biggest Bollywood stars tied the knot in 2018, it looks like 2019 will also see a lot of celebs wedding. Model-actor Nihar Pandya and singer Neeti Mohan are set to tie the knot on Valentine’s Day, February 14.
In an upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma show, the soon-to-wed couple confirms that they are scheduled to tie the knot on Valentine’s Day in the presence of family and close friends.
During the show, Nihar, who was earlier dating Deepika Padukone, reveals that he was in love with Neeti even before their first meeting. “A friend of mine was a member of Aasma, the band that Neeti was a part of at the beginning of her career. I asked him several times to introduce us but that never happened. Coincidentally, I met her in Goa at the same friend’s wedding almost a year ago, and that’s when our love story started.”
Nihar continues saying how he popped the question to Neeti, “We were taking a stroll around my farmhouse, and upon reaching a pre-decided spot under a tree, I went down on one knee and asked her, ‘Tu shaadi karegi mujhse?’ and at that very moment, a phoolon ki baarish happened.”
Reportedly, Nihar also dated actress Gauahar Khan Post his break-up with Deepika. But the actor finally chooses Neeti as his soul-mate, talking about the singer he said, “It took me no time at all to decide Neeti was the one with whom I wanted to spend the rest of my life. Luckily she felt the same way, and we decided to get married soon after we met. And now, as the day approaches, I am more and more convinced this is the best thing to have happened to me. Neeti Mohan is the eldest of four sisters; Shakti Mohan, Mukti Mohan and Kriti Mohan.
On the work front, Nihar recently made his Bollywood debut with Kangana Ranaut’s “Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi”. Nihar played the role of Pran Sukh Yadav in the Kangana Ranaut film. Neeti, on the other hand, is an established Bollywood singer who has sung songs like – Ishq Wala Love from “Student of the Year”, Jiya Re from Jab “Tak Hai Jaan”, Sau Aasman from “Baar Baar Dekho” and others.
