Veteran Actor Kader Khan Dead: Bollywood, PM Modi and Fans Mourn Loss Of The Greatest Comedian

Veteran actor and writer Kader Khan passed away on 31st December in Canada at the age of 81.

Afghan born Indian-Canadian Bollywood actor Kader Khan breathed his last on 31st December 2018. Earlier this week Kader Khan’s health was reported critical, following which speculation of his death rumours started making rounds on Internet, which were dismissed by his son Sarfaraz.

However, the rumours has turned true as Bollywood’s greatest comedian Kader Khan is no more. The news about veteran actor Kader Khan’s heavenly abode broke on New Year(01-Jan-2019). Kader Khan, 81, passed away at a hospital in Canada after suffering from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. He passed away on December 31 at 6pm Canadian time after going into coma. He was in the hospital for 16-17 weeks.

“My dad has left us. He passed away on December 31 at 6 pm as per Canadian time due to prolonged illness. He slipped into coma in the afternoon. He was in the hospital for 16-17 weeks. The last rites will be performed here in Canada only. We have our entire family here and we live here so we are doing it,” Khan’s son Sarfaraz told PTI

Kader Khan’s last rites will be held in Canada on Tuesday. Actor turned writer, Kader Khan became prominent dialogue writer for many Bollywood blockbusters including Rajesh Khanna’s movies Mahachor, Chailla Babu, Dharam Kanta, Fiffty Fiffty, Naya Kadam, Masterji and Nasihat, all of which were hit films at box office.

Kader Khan Midas touch rose Amitabh Bachchan to the popularity as he wrote dialogues for some of Amitabh’s biggest hits and most popular dialogues/ roles like Muqaddar Ka Sikander, Amar Akbar Anthony, Sharabi, Lawaris, Satte Pe Satta, Naseeb.

Kader Khan was born in Kabul, Afghanistan in 1937. Khan worked in more than 300 films with debut in Rajesh Khanna’s Daag(1973).

Kader Khan left beyond a most distinct and unforgettable reflection of his work for the generations to remember. PM Modi to Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda to Rishi Kapoor offered their condolences as they remember his kind work and act. Fans on twitter too are mourning loss of Kader Khan.

Kader Khan was truly an inspiration, versatile actor with great sense of humor, a mass entertainer and a great human being!!
