American Singer Mariah Carey has sold her 35 carat engagement ring from ex fiance James Packer worth of A$13 million.
Singer and songwriter Mariah Carey have reportedly sold her engagement ring which she received from her ex-fiance James Packer in 2016 which is worth of US$10 million USD (A$13 million). Australia based media business magnet James Packer, 50, and singer Mariah Carey, 48, got engaged in Jan 2016 with a 35 carat multi-million dollar engagement ring and separated in October 2016.
Carey have sold her 35-carat diamond ring at a very significant loss than it’s original value at just US$2.1 (A$2.8 million) to an unnamed jeweler in LA.

Her publicist told to Page Six, “Mariah has been very vocal recently about her choice to move forward in her life surrounded by positivity.”
“That requires leaving emotional and material baggage behind, including an old engagement ring from an ex-boyfriend.”

After the couple called it quits, Carey sued Packer for having her to move to Los Angeles to live with Packer. She reportedly received a $50 million pay-out and got to keep the engagement ring, which is been sold now.
Later the pair agreed to settle mutually outside of court for an undisclosed sum.
