Once Again, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ Set Attacked in Kolhapur and Set On Fire

Ohh bad!! More troubles for Sanjay Leela Bhansali. After Rajasthan fiasco, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ set is once again attacked in Kolhapur and lit up with petrol bombs. The sets of the film were attacked and set on fire by a group of unknown people last night.

The incident took place on Tuesday night by unidentified group of people. It seems 40-50 group of people attacked on the set with lathis, petrol bomb and stones. A police complaint was lodged on Wednesday morning following which some arrests were made. Costumes were burnt and animals were hurt. Fortunately no one from cast and crew was present on the location.

About a month ago, film maker was slapped and assaulted in Jaipur along with his crew members. The Rajput Karni Sena had vandalized Padmavati sets in Jaipur for putting Rani ‘Padmavati’ in bad light. 

Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor are in the leading role of ‘Padmavati’.
