It is time for one India’s biggest and most celebrated fashion events— Winter/Festive edition of Lakme Fashion Week 2018! This year too, designers from all around the country will showcase their talent in form of beautiful designer clothes and we cannot contain our excitement! Many designers chose to stop their show via a Bollywood celebrity and actress Rhea Chakraborty was the show stopper for Urvashi Joneja’s label collection for this season ‘Away’.

Rhea walked down the ramp in a billowing backless black dress with golden detailing. One of the details that caught our eyes was a huge mid-flight bird made via multiple golden hexagons. Another detail was beaded back detailing that looked absolutely beautiful.
Naturally, while Rhea was sporting the best dress of the collection other pieces from Urvashi Joneja were equally beautiful and out of the box— dresses with golden bird motifs, sarees with multiple geometric shapes, easy to wear jackets-coats, all in vibrant colours and prints. Urvashi’s collection has something for everybody.
From dresses to sarees to full length skirts to a two-piece suits—all the clothing items are normally found in any urban woman’s wardrobe.
As for Pratiek Babbar, he was the show stopper for label ‘Chola’ by designer Sohaya Mishra. Pratiek walked down the ramp wearing a creation from Chola’s ‘Bye Felicia’ collection that advocates gender fluidity.
Pratiek looked every bit of an eccentric drag queen in extremely flared dramatic pair of trousers and anuntied angrakha type coat. Donning clothes in the shades of greys, black and white Pratiek added that extra drama through shaving half side of his beard for putting on full, well, half face makeup.
Yes, PratiekBabbar’s half face was shaved and half was not!
On the shaved side Prateik was sporting everything from red lipstick to eyeshadow to fake eyelashes to a perfectly arched eyebrow to blush on his cheeks. His face’s unshaved, rugged side was free of any makeup.
