Salman Khan is launching his brother-in-law in movie Loveyatri, the film was recently embroiled in controversy after a number of complaints were filed against Salman for hurting the sentiments of the Hindu community.
Looks like Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain’s debut movie is making headlines again! As per latest reports, Salman Khan has changed the name of his brother-in-law’s debut movie just days before its release.
People noticed the new name of the movie when Salman Khan posted a poster featuring Aayush and Warina, however the new name had everyone scratching their heads! Before fans could wonder if the poster had a typo, Salman Khan cleared the air through the caption by stating: This is not a spelling mistake… (sic).

Last week, news agency PTI had reported that a court in Bihar had asked the police to lodge a FIR against Salman Khan and the cast of his film. The base of the complaint was that the title of the movie and its content had hurt Hindu sentiments.
This is not all, few weeks back Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) had protested against the film’s title. They had also alleged that it ‘distorts the meaning of the Hindu festival.’ The protest happened soon after the film’s first trailer and first song ‘Chogada’ were unveiled.
Previously, speaking about the controversy, Salman Khan told PTI, “Some people, I don’t know who they are, have some problem with title of the film. It is a beautiful title. There is nothing more beautiful than love, so it is called Loveratri. It is not demeaning any culture.”
However, probably succumbing under pressure the name of the movie has been changed from ‘Loveratri’ to ‘Loveyatri’.
Starring Aayush Sharma, Warina Hussain, Ronit Roy and Ram Kapoor, directed by Abhiraj Minawala ‘Loveyatri’ is slated to release on October 5, 2018.
