The ‘nepotism’ debate in Bollywood is oftenly discussed and argued. The ‘Queen’ actress Kangana Ranaut recently opened up on Koffee With Karan show about nepotism and it’s existence in Bollywood. She took a sly dig at Karan Johar. The debate on nepotism became the pungent topic of discussion in Bollywood industry. From Priyanka Chopra to Hrithik Roshan, Sonam Kapoor to Alia Bhatt opened up on nepotism like never before. While many agreed and spoke in favor of Kangana, others denied arguing that talent is always appreciated.

The latest to joint he bandwagon on nepotism take is Jagga Jasoos actor Ranbir Kapoor. At the promotion event of his latest upcoming film release Jaggo Jasoos along with Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor was asked about his take on nepotism in Bollywood. He said, “Of course, it exists.”
The ADHM actor further added, “It exists everywhere but more so in the film industry. But how I see it, I can only speak of my family. I believe my great grandfather worked really hard to give his children an opportunity in their professional life. I would like to work hard for my children so that they get the right opportunity, platform, the right first film. After that, it’s about your talent. So, yes, honestly, it does exist.”
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer movie Jagga Jasoos is tentatively set to release on July 14 2017.
