Another high-profile celebrity break-up has left us shocked. South superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya is officially divorced from Ashwin Ramkumarformer. The family court in Chennai granted them divorce yesterday on July 4. After living separately since February 2016, the couple filed for divorce in September 2016. As per media reports, Soundarya and Ashwin tried their best reconcile but things didn’t work out between the two, which led to divorce.
The two are parents to four-year-old son, Ved and so far there has been no official confirmation on who will have custody of their child. As per TOI, the separate proceedings were smooth and without much ado.

Meanwhile, Soundarya is currently busy gearing up for the release of her next film Velai Illa Pattathari 2, also known as VIP 2 starring Dhanush, Kajol and Amala Paul in lead roles. The film is slated to release on July 28.
