Priyanka Chopra Missed Her Doctorate Felicitation Ceremony At Bareilly University

Priyanka Chopra to receive her Honorary Doctorate at Bareilly University today. She missed the best moment of her life as flight got cancelled due to fog. 

Desi girl Priyanka Chopra is currently in India on a vacation break. Yet, she is quite busy here. As soon she came Mumbai, she was up for Zee Cine Awards performance and then attended UNICEF event in Delhi. She was also spotted attending wedding reception with her mom Madhu in Delhi. 

As Priyanka is in her native country, Bareilly International University decided to honor Priyanka Chopra with a doctorate degree at the Bareilly International University in the presence of University chancellor Keshav Kumar Agrawal, Union Environment Minister Harsh Vardhan and Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Rajesh Agarwal.

Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra said, “It gives me immense joy and satisfaction, that Priyanka’s work for various social causes is being appreciated and felicitated. “She justifiably deserves it. May god bless her and give her the strength to do good for those who are less fortunate.”

Priyanka Chopra is flying high as she is only woman in top 10 Forbes Celebrity 100 list. The 35-year-old actress Priyanka Chopra was supposed to visit her native place Bareilly today after 5 years and to be felicitated with the degree. 

Priyanka with her mom Madhu and brother Siddharth Chopra were set to leave for Bareilly but the flight got cancelled due to heavy fog. The fog spoiled the happy mood of Chopra’s. Priyanka Chopra expressed her sadness on twitter praying God to clear the sky –
