Ever since the 4th installment of the popular Golmaal franchise was announced, speculations have been rife who will play the lead actress. It was pretty much declared that Kareena Kapoor Khan who has been part of earlier series, will not be a part of Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 4 due to her pregnancy. The Mommy-to-be Kareena Kapoor Khan has been replaced by none other than Parineeti Chopra. Yes, Parineeti Chopra is now part of one of the biggest, most successful franchises, the Golmaal series.
As per reports, the makers of the film required a bubbly and happening girl and Parineeti Chopra fits the best. Before deciding who will play the lead actress, Rohit Shetty met Shraddha Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra both to narrate the script. As Parineeti immediately gave a nod, Rohit Shetty signed her.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce the news. He wrote, “It’s official! Parineeti Chopra is the new #Golmaal girl… Directed by Rohit Shetty… Diwali 2017 release.”

Apart from Ajay Devgn and Parineeti Chopra, the cast of Golmaal 4 includes Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, and Shreyas Talpade. The makers are eyeing 2017 Diwali release for the film!
