Sometimes people leave no stone unturned to keep themselves in the limelight. The ‘Traffic Signal’ actress Neetu Chandra recently slammed Sidharth Malhotra over his unintentional behaviour. Sidharth Malhotra along with Manoj Bajpayee and Rakul Preet Singh, had visited Bigg Boss 11 house to promote their upcoming film Aiyaary.
During the promotions on the stage with host Salman Khan, Sidharth Malhotra ended up making an insensitive comment on the language. Sid was following a dialogue after Manoj Bajpayee, during which he commented something in humour that has hurt sentiments of many.
Actress Neetu Chandra took to Twitter to express her disappointment over Sidharth’s comment. She shared the clip and wrote, “So disappointed @S1dharM someone who is so fortunate to work with best. Who despite being an outsider has made a name for himself, for you to use your words so loosely to disrespect Bhojpuri on national television. Shocked! How on earth does speaking Bhojpuri gives you a latrine feeling. Shame on you. (sic)”

Sidharth Malhotra was quick to apologise and wrote: “I recently tried speaking a new language while I was on a TV show. In the process, if I inadvertently hurt anyone’s feelings or sentiments, I apologise and assure you that no disrespect was meant in any way.”
