Manjhi The Mountain Man which we were all curiously waiting for it to hit the cinemas on Aug 21 is reportedly leaked online. In the direction of Ketan Mehta, the biopic story is based on Dashrath Manjhi resident of Gehlaur village of Gaya district in Bihar who continued to work for over 22 years by hammering mountains where people even laughed and made fun of him.
After watching trailer of the movie a month back, featuring Nawazuddin Siddique and Radhika Apte people were already started falling for it and were awaiting for its release but for its surprise(bad surprise for the movie) its been leaked online on Aug 9th.
A source close to the project says, “Those who have seen it on film sharing websites say that print is clear and cannot be a pirated copy. In fact, it has the proper censor certificate attached to it. The 2:01 hour long footage has gone viral, but no one knows who has uploaded it online. It could be someone from the team itself.”
What was Nawazuddin Siddique’s comment on the leakage of the movie –
“The pleasure can be felt only on the big screen. The film will make you cry and laugh and crack all your emotions and that’s why you should watch it on the big screen,” he added.
He also said, “the film has a huge scale and if people prefer to watch such a film on their laptops, then I don’t know what to say. The experience of such a film is best felt on the big screen. All I want to say is that we have made the film with a lot of passion and now we only hope is that the film reaches the audience.”
The movie is based on the life of Dashrath Manjhi played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui who carved a road through a mountain in 22 years. The film’s schedule for release on August 21,2015 in theaters. Prior to its release preview copy of movie leaked on August 9, 2015.
I would still recommend you to go for a big screen to watch and feel the real story, emotion and love behind this story.
