Bollywood’s most loved on-screen couple Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan graced the recent episode of Karan Johar’s chat show, “Koffee With Karan 5”. As we all know the two talented stars have been launched by Karan Johar and the camaraderie that they shared was quite evident throughout the episode. Varun and Alia, who have geared up for the release of their upcoming film “Badrinath Ki Dhulhania”, were seen candid at their best. They kicked off the episode by thrashing Karan Johar from the dressing room as they came back to take the revenge. The episode was full of madness, laughter and some more bold confessions that raised many eyebrows. - Sidharth, Varun, and Alia are like kids to Karan Johar and they have always been his priority. Referring Alia and Varun as two dogs, Karan Johar said that Varun and Alia are childlike creatures who always feed on each other’s energies.
- Varun reminded Karan Johar the time when he angrily threw paper on his and Sidharth Malhotra’s face. He said, “He has lost it on me and Sid. Remember the time you literally threw paper on our faces with anger.”
- The hilarious moment was when Varun gifted Alia a hair dryer during the show. As Karan asked what is t, Alia replied saying that it’s a hair dryer but it’s only vibrating and that there is no air coming out of it. Embarrassed Varun reacts saying that he isn’t a part of what Alia just said.
- Varun Dhawan, who is known to get the kitty out of the bag, asked Varun and Alia if they would go on double date with their alleged better halves, Siddharth Malhotra and Natasha Dalal, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt loud and clearly replied, “No”.
- Varun and Karan Johar shared a video from their shooting of Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The video showcased Alia Bhatt crying while their director Shashank Khaitan tries to console her. The reason is sure to make you laugh. Alia was crying in the video because she was hungry and had nothing to eat apart from cheese balls. In the video, she is heard saying, “Because I’m hungry. They have cheese balls on the menu. I can’t trust this menu.”
- Varun and Alia were seen entertaining like their best. Varun left no stone unturned to tease and harass bubbly Alia. When Varun Dhawan confessed that he would like to get married soon, Alia Bhatt replied she won’t dance at his wedding!
- Karan introduced a segment in which Varun and Alia had to enact the things written on their cue cards. While Varun would enact, Alia had to guess. Varun miserably failed to act Hrithik Roshan’s dialogue from Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, even after trying for almost 5-7 times. You can’t help but just roll down on the floor with laughter, it was that funny!

- Karan Johar asked Varun, “If the following would get arrested, what’d be for?” Varun Dhawan said, “Ranveer Singh– public nudity, Ranbir Kapoor– breaking hearts, Arjun Kapoor– he does a lot of wrong things- trespassing.”
- “If you were in the same sex relationship, who would you pick as a partner? Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Siddharth Malhotra, Tiger Shroff?” Varun immediately replied Tiger Shroff and reasoned that he will be flexible and also admitted being a climber in bed. uh, la la!
- “What do these people have that you don’t?
- Siddharth Malhotra? – Varun looked at Alia and smiled! This was a clear hint that Sid and Alia are dating.
- Shahid Kapoor? – A baby girl! Varun’s interpretation was quite off so he then cleared that he wants his own baby girl, not Shahid’s Misha.
Alia Bhatt’s rapid fire was diplomatic and too boring that when Varun spoke about it, Alia badly hit him with the cushion.
The Rat Race Round: Alia and Varun goofed up the segment very badly with their impromptu wrong answers. During the session, Varun revealed “he wants a girl to wear a bra, a panty, and T-shirt to bed.” Karan Johar asked both Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, “Three co-stars who are ‘hook up worthy?” Varun Dhawan took his three names, “Shraddha Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Radhika Apte.” Alia Bhatt took her three names, “Siddharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan.”
The episode was indeed an entertaining one and moreover, Varun Dhawan just rocked it like always with his innocent and unintentional answers.
