By now it’s known to all that Karan Johar has ended his long-standing friendship with actress Kajol. The two have ended their two decades friendship which has become a talk of the town and the reason behind their fallout is said to be Karan Johar and Ajay Devgn’s fight. During the launch of his autobiography, “An Unsuitable Boy”, Karan Johar openly talked about his fight with Kajol. It was surely an emotional moment for the director-producer but in the most honest words, he made many controversial revelations. In a recent interview with CNN-News18, the director opened up on his rift with former BFF Kajol. “Ajay Devgn called me and shouted at me and said some really nasty things because he heard at a party that I had said some things about his wife. She was one of my closest relationships, as close as family could get, but it got unpleasant,” said Karan Johar.(Also Read: You Won’t Believe Ajay Devgn’s Daughter Nysa Was Angry With Him For A Year and A Half!)
Karan Johar and Ajay Devgn’s fight became public last year during their respective releases, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay. During that period Ajay Devgn had shared a recording where self-proclaimed critic Kamaal Rashid Khan claimed that Karan Johar paid him Rs 25 Lacs to praise his film and tweet bad about Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay.
Talking about the same, Karan said, “He put out a statement saying there should be an investigation and she retweeted it saying ‘SHOCKING’. And that was it. I felt she should’ve not allowed her husband to say such things about me & even if he had, she shouldn’t have endorsed and thirdly she should’ve picked up the phone and called me and said sorry for that entire situation. I’d like to say & I stand by it is that this is not a phase, a feeling that will change. No matter what, she’s out of my life.”
