Every day, there is some new development(not good one) on the fight between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover. This stands to be one of the prolonged controversy on television. The infamous flight fight is revealing everyday new facet and shocking us. After Sunil Grover left the show, Chandan and Ali Asgar too boycotted TKSS. Recently Kapil Sharma had to cancel his shoot as no one tuned up on the shooting day except Kiku Sharda and Rochelle Rao. Even Bollywood seems to be upset with the ongoing fiasco and not as keen as before to come on the show. Even there was a buzz that, lined-up Bollywood celebs too did not turn up on the shooting day which irked Kapil Sharma. There is this new development heard that the makers are thinking to go off the show. The rumor mills have that the makers have decided to pull plugs on the show if the matter is not resolved. We can see that the dispute is causing losses to the channel, makers and hurting channel’s TRP.
There is more bad luck standing at Kapil Sharma’s door as the contract with Sony channel is ending in April and makers are no longer looking for renewal looking at the present scenario. As per the leading daily, “Kapil was being paid Rs 107 crore for a renewal. Now, that seems unlikely.” If the renewal does not happen, then Kapil Sharma would bear the loss of deal amounting Rs. 107 Crore. This would also mark as an end for Kapil Sharma’s career and fame.
The decision is tough to execute as the show is globally famous but then, not having Sunil Grover, Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar is shrinking TRP of the show.
