Karan Johar and Kajol’s infamous fallout has been a talk of the town ever since the filmmaker revealed about the same during the launch of his autobiography. Karan Johar spoke at length about what went wrong between him and Kajol. Both have gone their separate ways, but not before dissing the other in public. While Karan Johar went on to write about the alleged fallout in his autobiography, Kajol has maintained silence.
In an interview with DNA, Kajol was once again asked about her side of the story. To which she smartly avoided to talk about it saying that it was best if she stayed silent. Kajol, who is always known to speak her mind, also dropped a hint that how Karan Johar faked, to be honest only to sell his book and movies.

She replied, “I think that the best thing for me to do right now, as far as this entire topic (the fallout with Karan Johar) is concerned, is to stay silent. And that’s exactly what I’m going to do. When and if I choose to give my opinion on this particular topic, I will make sure the world hears of it.”
Kajol took a dig at Karan Johar and subtly added, “Well, I think there’s a lot of fake honesty going around as well. I really do. There are a lot of people going around and saying, ‘You know I’m being honest’ and actually, it’s just for selling books, or movies and ratings. I don’t know, there are a lot of reasons for faking in front of the camera. Or in front of the public, for that matter. I think honesty has been abused over time and space.”
To people who have come in late, Kajol and Karan’s friendship hit the rock bottom during the box-office clash between ‘Shivaay’ (directed by Kajol’s husband Ajay Devgn) and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. It was alleged that Karan paid a so called critic KRK to write negative about Shivaay on twitter and this had created a huge fight between Kajol and Karan.
