John Cena and Nikki Bella have called it quits, post their engagement and a weeks out of their wedding. Cena and Bella have broken up after six years of relationship and one year of engagement which was extravaganza after Cena popped the question in a wrestler ring.

After dating since 2012, Cena, 40, proposed to Bella, 34, in the centre of the ring last year and got engaged at Wrestlemania.
In a statement posted to Instagram, Bella said “while this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another.”
Only a week ago, Bella had reposted a video on Instagram of the day she was proposed by Cena saying, “Omg love this! lol I can’t believe this was last year at WrestleMania! What a moment, still get chills and tears every time. Honestly feel like the luckiest girl in the world. ❤️”
Hours later, John Cena too posted number of cryptic images on Instagram, after the shock split was released by Bella.
The couple revealed exclusively to Us Weekly about their split, “While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another,” the couple tells Us in a statement. “We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.”

Reportedly, the couple had scheduled their wedding on May 5.
