Review: Is It Worth Spending Money On Sonakshi-John Abraham Starrer Force 2 After Demonetization?

John Abraham, Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin starrer Force 2 has finally hit the screens today on November 18. Since the power-packed trailer of the action drama was released, Force 2 has been under the limelight of its amazing star cast and high-octane action scenes. In fact, the trailer of the film had created much frenzy among the fans and it’s expected that the film might do better than its prequel. The film sees John Abraham as ACP Yashvardhan, Sonakshi Sinha as RAW Agent KK and Tahir Raj Bhasin as the baddie Shiv. Going by the trailer of the film, director Abhinay Deo promises to pack in as much action as possible in the sequel but the question is, is the film worth watching?

Before you check in to the Box Office to purchase your tickets for Force 2 that too, after standing long hours at the ATM queue to withdraw your money amid the note ban issue, we let you know if watching the movie will be worth your time and money or no.

These days, sequels of the film are not so promising and the trend of making sequels has drastically flopped. But Force 2 looks promising and double the action what the audience witnessed in the prequel, Force (2011). The story of the film is gripping yet strong with a good background score for some action scenes. Moreover, the director has infused some quirky elements in the film to keep the audience intact and hooked up. After Akira, Sonakshi has turned up action queen and it would not be a bad choice to spend your time and money to watch her. John’s muscles are truly to die for and Tahir as baddie will be interesting to watch. Budapest’s scenic beauty is breathtaking and aerial shots amid them are the biggest attraction.

The film is expected to do an average business of Rs 5 crore on its first day but well, now the only word of mouth publicity will decide the faith of the film. We give the movie 3/5. What’s your choice?
