Unlike any other 22-year-old, actress Janhvi Kapoor spent her birthday rather simple. She had a small birthday celebration with her father and sister Khushi in Varanasi. She is currently filming Gunjan Saxena’s biopic, which is reportedly titled Kargil Girl.

There have been several pictures floating on social media accounts which have been shared by her fan clubs. She also spoke to Mumbai Mirror about her special day. She said, “We drove to Varanasi after the day’s work so I could see the Ganga aarti and go to the Kashi Vishwanath temple.
“I wanted to visit Tirupati again. Mom (Sridevi) used to climb up to the temple every year for her birthday when she was working. I went there earlier this year and wanted to go again on my birthday, but arrangements couldn’t be made on time I might go next week,” she said.
From the various pictures, the Dhadak girl is seen cutting her birthday cake with a sword and she is surrounded by Boney Kapoor and Khushi. They also went for a boat ride on the banks of river Ganga in Varanasi.
Janhvi, in an Instagram post, thanked her fans. She captioned, “Thankful and grateful. For all your love and blessings, for every opportunity, for my family, for my country. Love you all.”
In her Instagram story, the actor also revealed the gift she received from her dad. She wrote, “Best gift ever” alongside a picture of Boney Kapoor holding a box of Nutties. In another story, she posted a picture with room full of balloons and wrote ” I Love You” to her sister Anshula Kapoor.
Janhvi’s cousin, actor Sonam Kapoor wished her a happy birthday with a throwback picture on Instagram. “Happy happy birthday baby jannu… all my love baby girl… keep smiling your gorgeous smile..”
Her friend and actor Sara Ali Khan also took to Instagram to post a message. She wrote, “Birthday wishes from @saraalikhan95 Many more happy returns of the @janhvikapoor.”
Janhvi Kapoor’s step-brother Arjun Kapoor took to Instagram to post a message. He wrote, “Ok see I found an unused picture Janhvi Kapoor happy birthday hope this year is the beginning of you discovering urself & realising the world is ur oyster… Stay grateful stay humble & stay grounded…. Also I hope truly that u give us the same love this year that u give Pankoo ji !!!”
