After all the hiccups in his professional life and personal too, Kapil Sharma is starting a fresh new chapter of his life by stepping into the holy matrimony this coming winter.

Comedian Kapil Sharma who used to make us laugh and was a huge huge fan of Deepika Padukone, whom he used to call Deepu, is marrying in December 2018. Kapil Sharma and his girlfriend Ginni Chatrath are all set to get married on December 12 in Jalandhar. Looks like Bollywood and TV actors are going to end this year with all the possible weddings.

A year back, Kapil introduced Ginni as his fiancee through social media. Now the couple is all set to tie the knot on December 12 this year at Ginni’s home town Jalandhar. “While December 12 is the wedding date for now, Kapil and his family want to zero in on the most auspicious date. The family has already started prepping up for the big fat Punjabi wedding which will happen in his home town. Kapil is in Mumbai but has been keeping in touch and personally looking into the preparations. His show is also supposed to go on floors soon. So, he has quite a lot in his kitty for now,” the source was quoted as saying.
“We wanted to keep it low key. But Ginni is the only daughter in her family. Her folks wanted the wedding to be on a lavish scale. And I completely understand their sentiments. My mother also wants the wedding to be lavish,” Kapil Shrama said.
“During the time when my brother married, I had not started earning well. We just went as a small baraat (wedding procession) and got bhabhi (sister-in-law) home. But by the time my sister got married, I had begun to earn well. So we had a fairly large wedding. It was lavish by our standards,” he added.
Kapil Sharma was recently seen busy promoting his Punjabi movie Son Of Manjeet Singh – Kapil’s first film as producer. The wedding date was decided a long time back but Kapil didn’t announce as he wanted to keep the promotion of his movie just a promotion and didn’t wanted to mix it with his personal life. “For the past few weeks, I’ve been promoting my Punjabi film. I didn’t want to talk about the wedding during the promotions, although the media repeatedly kept asking,” he said.
He continued that more than him, his mother is happy about the impending wedding. “Of course I am. But more than me, the happiness that I see on my mother’s face is what makes it special.”
Kapil Sharma will host a grand reception party on his return to Mumbai.
Kapil Sharma had his own ups and downs during his successful career, which went haywire and took a toll on his personal life too. After being in headlines for months for his fight with his long-time collaborator Sunil Grover and pissing many actors for his unprofessional behaviour by cancelling shoots, the comedian engaged in huge negative publicity.

However the comedian is back to normal and will be coming up with some new ventures. Recently he tweeted to return back on Sony TV with the launch of the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show. The show will return with popular faces such as Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarti and Chandan Prabhakar. The show will go live somewhere around Diwali.
