
Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning British monarch hosted a grand royal event on 27th of Feb at the Buckingham Palace. The UK-India 2017 Year of Culture had invited influential Indian delegates to attended this gala reception.

One of the delegate who turned down Queen Elizabeth’s invitation was megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Due to his prior work commitments he could not accept the invitee. Other significant celebs who attended the reception for India were Chef Vikas Khanna, former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Kunal Nayyar and others.

The eateries were too delicious. 5000 delicacies were served. Raj Puri to Soya Gujjia to Salmon Blinis and Crème Brûlée were some of the savories. UK’s oldest Indian restaurant Veeraswamy was in charge of entire menu.
