Bollywood’s #DeepVeer couple will tie the knot today in Lake Como, Italy, after enjoying their mehandi cum sangeet ceremony yesterday.
Bollywood’s most cutest and handsome couple – Deepika and Ranveer are solemnizing their wedding rituals in Italy, far from paparazzi’s flashing cameras. As the couple is above to tie the knot in few hours, not a single photo of Deepika and Ranveer have been made public on social media, which is btw a respectful gesture shown by the guests.

The couple got officially engaged in Konkani style known as “Phool Muddi”, where the bride’s father wash grooms feet and offer a coconut to him.
As per reports, DeepVeer’s Mehendi and sangeet ceremony was held yesterday. It seems Ranveer got DeepVeer mehendi stained on his hand. As we all know that singer Harshdeep Kaur and Shubha Mugdal flew to Italy to perform at Deepika and Ranveer’s sangeet ceremony, it was then when Deepika got emotional like any other bride-to-be.
“Shubha Mudgal was performing a thumri when Deepika Padukone got emotional and was in tears. When she broke down, Ranveer, who could understand her emotional state, walked up to her and hugged her tight and consoled his lady love. He ensured she was smiling again with all his crazy love antics,” an attendee told Pinkvilla.
“Ranveer was in his element completely. His happiness was evident and he made sure that it is one of the most unforgettable events of his life. The handsome hunk with his energy was seen grooving to the dhol beats. He was so excited that at one point he also took the dhol away and started playing himself and making the audience dance. Then he walked up to his lady love and played the dhol for her as she blushed. Then the duo was seen shaking a leg together while the DJ played some dhamakedaar music – which were a mix of retro and new songs,” the insider revealed.
As Deepika belongs to Konkani background of South India and Ranveer – a North Indian Munda from Sindhi family, the couple will have two wedding ceremonies on November 14 and 15.
On return to India, the couple will throw two grand reception party in Mumbai and Bengalaru.
