It’s festive season in Bollywood with the ongoing Ganesh Utsav, with stars who have already brought ‘Bappa’ home, and while some have already bid adieu to the deity, some still have days to go for that. Amongst the loud chants of ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ and fragrance of flowers and essence empowering us, what caught our eyes was the impeccable ‘desi’ fashion sense of these celebrities. Take a look as we bring to you our favourite ones.
Malaika Arora Khan
Clearly claiming the top spot, Malaika looked simply amazing as she attended the Ganesh Pujan at both Manish Malhotra’s and Salman Khan’s, wearing Payal Malhotra. Out of the two, the black and gold is our favourite.
Genelia D’Souza
The lady sure looked like a delicate flower, with all its gorgeousness flowing in. The pink outfit from Anhad by Ishita looked amazing on her, as she finished the look with minimum makeup, a bun, and a bindi, and breezed in with hubby Riteish to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha at Manish Malhotra’s place.
Shilpa Shetty
Dressed in a red and white Indian ensemble, Shilpa looked simple yet beautiful, as she bid farewell to Ganpati, with her husband and son.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Well, the lady has already wowed us with her teasing looks in the teaser of Karan Johar’s much-awaited ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, and we must say, she grows beautiful with each passing year. She looked absolutely ethereal in the soft pink Manish Malhotra’s outfit, which was heavily embroidered. Quite a choice, given she was attending puja at the designer’s house.
Sonakshi Sinha
The chirpy, quirky, and new action queen of Bollywood, who has punched her way through ‘Akira’ too attended Manish Malhotra’s Ganesh Pujan, and chose to wear a simple yet popping outfit. The bright yellow ensemble by Seema Khan looked lovely on her, which she paired up with jootis by The Haelli.
Aditi Rao Hydari
The very lovely Aditi Rao Hydari stole the show when she coyly came in a white and gold lehenga by Sukriti and Aakriti. The Amrapali jewelry along with it made her look even more gorgeous.
Manish Malhotra
Well, the maestro himself looked evergreen as ever with his simple navy blue outfit, with a quintessential desi touch to it.
Karisma Kapoor
Trust the elder Kapoor sister to make a fashion statement. She looked resplendent in the white and red salwar kameez from Ankur and Priyanka Modi. Pairing it with jhumkis and a bindi, she looked like a vision at Manish Malhotra’s.
Dia Mirza
She arrived at Salman Khan’s residence to celebrate the festival with the family, and looked as beguiling as ever in the red outfit that she wore.
Alongside worshipping, the festive mood is sure gripping the B-town in waves of fashion.
