Veteran actor Vinod Khanna dies
The week started on a really sad note as Vinod Khanna, the original heartthrob of Bollywood, breathed his last, at the age of 70. Khanna had been suffering from gallbladder cancer and kept that a secret for long time, till an image of a frail and ailing him emerged, few days back. RIP sir, you have left a void no one would be able to fill, for a long time.

Rishi Kapoor goes on a long Twitter rant, post the death of co-star and friend, Vinod Khanna
Rishi Kapoor is a man who does not mince his words and expresses what is in his mind unabashedly and unapologetically. Post the demise of his friend and co-star Vinod Khanna, the actor took to his Twitter account to bash all the actors of the current generation who did not attend the funeral of Khanna, to pay last respects to a veteran. Ironically, the whole of the younger lot were present to attend Priyanka Chopra’s bash, but not Vinod Khanna’s funeral. Sad. Rishi also went on to bash the leading ladies of Khanna, as none of them were present to pay their last respects to the departed actor.
Armaan Malik and Sonakshi Sinha indulged in a war of tweets
Few days back, there was a rumour that Sonakshi Sinha had been approached to perform alongside Justin Bieber, in latter’s Indian tour. This irked many singers, given that Sonakshi is an actor and not a singer in profession. Singer Armaan Malik took to Twitter to express his displeasure and it was then that a war of tweets started between him and Sona. Not just that, even singer Sona Mohapatra voiced in her opinion and was subsequently blocked by Sonakshi. Sonakshi’s brother Luv Sinha, and Armaan’s brother Amaal Malik, who also is a singer-composer, too had their share of word-war on Facebook. Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion hits the theatres amongst mass craze and frenzy, breaks records

Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion hit the theatres and ran to full houses. The first-day collection of the movie was more than Rs 150 crore, beating the openings of any Khan. The frenzy of the fans and the craze was easily visible via the long lines outside cinema halls, and the hurry to get advance bookings online. Jio Re Baahubali!
